Izack Under premieres his latest single ‘Mistake’

The singer Izack Under enters the music scene with the new single “Mistake”, already available on all digital platforms. In this work, he brings a dialogue about illicit addictions and a message of support and rescue to those who haven’t yet managed to change their lives. The song also comes with a music video on the artist’s VEVO channel on YouTube.

The new track, which is the singer’s first release of the year and marks the beginning of a new phase in his career, is an original composition that addresses necessary discussions and reflections on drug use and the struggle to overcome it. “Seeing many cases of people involved with drugs nowadays, with this song I aim to encourage each of these individuals to try to address their needs in a different way. I want them to understand that drugs are not the solution. Even though it may be difficult, even though it may seem impossible, there are always better paths that can be chosen, and only we can take care of ourselves,” says Izack.

The artist also shares his perspective on love as a drug, a metaphor that resonates with personal and universal struggles against addiction. With palpable sincerity, he expresses his hope that this song will serve as a beacon for those trapped in self-destructive cycles, encouraging them to seek alternative and better paths. “Talking about such strong themes, if you’re not involved in them, is a bit more complicated, but I’ve always related love to a drug. A drug like chocolate, chocolate that helps me think, smile, cry, or overcome crying. And I relate love to a drug where you need to consume it to survive. And it’s not so different in other people’s worlds,” the artist concludes.

Music Video

The audiovisual aspect of this work adds to and further conveys what the artist aims to present. Being one of his favorite productions, Izack releases the music video on his VEVO YouTube channel. The video captures the anguish and agony of addiction, revealing the depths of the vice. The visuals accompany the melancholic music played by a melodic piano, but with a compelling story and an even more impactful ending. “The new music video speaks of this need for the drug to be consumed, a need so strong that you can see how a person is gradually consumed by the desire to use it or live in that way, to the point where it’s not just at parties, but in everyday life alone,” emphasizes Izack.

As for what the audience can expect from this new work, he declares: “You can expect everything and nothing (laughs). I’ve always sought to show different things and new stories in my music videos and songs. I hope this is yet another good story to be told, that the message is conveyed, and that people see how they can end a story like this and thus make the right decisions in their lives,” the artist concludes.
