Born in Goiânia, Goiás, Mrs. Livia Suassuna always dreamed big. Her restless spirit led her to seek international experiences, and during a volunteer exchange in Switzerland, she realised the vastness of the world and the opportunities it offered.
“It was during this period that I realised the world was much bigger than I imagined and that there were many opportunities beyond the borders of Goiânia,” she recalls.
London – A New Beginning
Returning to Goiânia, Dr. Livia realised that her hometown could no longer contain her ambitions. Determined to seek new challenges, she completed her Law degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás and decided to take a significant step: immigrate to London and start from scratch.
Working in restaurants and shops to support herself, the lawyer faced a challenging period dealing with a completely different language and culture.
Despite the initial difficulties, she did not give up. She returned to university and studied Law again, this time in the United Kingdom – until she graduated and became a Solicitor.
“I had to sit in the university chair and redo the entire Law course. It was a great challenge but also a great achievement,” says the lawyer.
Commitment to Ethics
With over 20 years living in the United Kingdom and more than 15 years of legal experience, Dr. Livia has now founded Suassuna Global – a company dedicated to helping people legalise their status correctly in the United Kingdom.
Unlike many lawyers who resort to questionable methods, Livia maintains an unwavering commitment to ethics and truth.
“I believe that legalisation should be done the right way. There are many professionals who want to make money by helping people incorrectly, but I don’t work that way,” she states.
Expansion and Impact
The impact of Dr. Livia’s work is remarkable. She has already helped over a thousand people regularise their status fairly and legally.
“Seeing people’s happiness when they manage to legalise correctly is the greatest reward I could have,” comments the specialist.
Today, Suassuna Global has expanded its services to Portugal and Italy, reflecting the new phase of Livia’s life, who recently moved to Portugal. Focused on expanding the company, she continues to inspire with her story of perseverance and dedication.
“I am very excited about this new phase. I want to continue helping as many people as possible and further expand our services,” says the successful lawyer.
