\u201cI want my fans to have the merriest Christmas, [and enjoy] being together,\u201d Carey tells\u00a0Vogue\u00a0of her new concert. While the iconic chanteuse already debuted a few of her glamorous stage looks\u00a0on Instagram, there\u2019s one special ensemble that stands out from the pack: Carey enlisted French designer Julie de Libran for a special\u2014and intentional\u2014couture creation.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carey and Libran\u2019s partnership was masterminded by Carey\u2019s stylist Wilfredo Rosado, who has known Libran for many years. For Carey, she was instantly drawn to working with the designer. \u201cI loved the idea of working with a woman designer,\u201d says Carey, who also wanted to highlight a designer known for their craftwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
