Nicki French delights Brazilian fans during whirlwind tour with Gottsha

British 90s dance icon confirms October shows alongside Brazilian star Gottsha and Italy’s Taleesa


British singer Nicki French has been captivating audiences across Brazil during a busy two-week run of performances, reaffirming her enduring appeal among fans of 1990s dance music.

Currently based in São Paulo, the vocalist has taken part in a series of live shows and television appearances, drawing crowds spanning multiple generations. One of the highlights of her visit came during a recent TV performance, where she delivered renditions of signature hits including “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, “Did You Ever Really Love Me” and “Stop! In the Name of Love”, prompting an emotional response from viewers.

With her trademark vocal power and stage presence firmly intact, French has once again demonstrated why she remains a defining voice of the international dance scene.

The singer has also used her time in Brazil to unveil plans for a special tour set to begin in early October. The shows will see her share the stage with Brazilian dance music mainstay Gottsha and Italian artist Taleesa, in a line-up that brings together three prominent figures of the genre.

Gottsha, widely regarded as one of Brazil’s leading dance acts, has continued to energise audiences with performances of tracks such as “No One to Answer”, “Blackout” and “Do You Wanna Love Me”, underscoring her lasting influence on the national scene.

Meanwhile, Taleesa is set to travel to Brazil for the tour, with a repertoire that includes “Because the Night”, “I Found Love”, “Let Me Be” and “Burning Up”, promising a set steeped in both nostalgia and high-energy performance.

With three iconic performers united on stage, the forthcoming tour is expected to celebrate the legacy of dance music while offering fans a vibrant throwback to the sound that defined an era.
